The English Teaching Unit (ETU) is an academic unit within the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Peradeniya, one of Sri Lanka's foremost research universities. We are responsible for developing English language competency across all undergraduate engineering programmes.
Our team of experienced language educators works closely with engineering students from their first year through graduation, equipping them with the communication tools they need for success in academia and industry.
We take pride in nurturing not just technical communicators, but well-rounded individuals capable of creative expression, critical thinking, and confident public engagement.
